- An international PASSPORT with a translation into Russian (the translation is certified by a Russian notary or the Consular Department of the Russian Embassy in the host country) The passport is valid until at least 2027.
- A document of previous education (including a grade sheet), with a translation into Russian (the translation is certified by a Russian notary or the Consular Department of the Russian Embassy in the host country).
- Photos 3x4 - 8 pcs. (colored or black and white).
- For applicants to full-time and part-time education - medical certificates:
- a vaccination certificate for vaccinations against measles, diphtheria, tuberculosis;
- a certificate of absence of HIV infection;
- a certificate of the results of the fluorographic examination.
- Certificate of recognition of a foreign education (except in cases where recognition of the document is not required).

test and enrollment
Applicants must take entrance tests. These tests are conducted by the Surgut State University independently online on Moodle platform.
CONDUCTING ENTRANCE TESTS (MAIN STAGE):
- The day of the beginning of the entrance tests is June 23, 2026;
- The day of completion of the entrance tests is August 14, 2026;
ENROLLMENT (MAIN STAGE):
- Publication of the competition lists – August 17, 2026;
- The date of completion of the education agreement is August 19, 2026;
- The issuance of The Enrollment Orders is on August 21, 2026.

Additional admission campaign at the university is the second wave of the admission campaign, which is conducted if there are vacant places after the main stage of enrollment.

1. Are language tests, such as IELTS or TOEFL, required for English programs?
Surgut State University does not require language tests for English programs. However, international applicants, who decided to study an educational program in Russian, must provide a certificate of proficiency in the Russian language.
2. Is an entrance exam needed? When and where can I take it?
Yes, entrance exams are obligatory. Applicants, who chose General Medicine, should pass Chemistry and Biology exams. International applicants take the exams online on Moodle platform. Minimal score for both exams - 40/100.
3. What are the application deadlines, and when should I register?
4. Are scholarships or financial aid options available for international students?
No, Surgut State University does not provide international students with scholarships or financial aid.
